The idea for Hi-Res 3D was formed when I realized that not all service bureaus are equal.

Some are very sophisticated and have invested in the latest SLA and SLS equipment for producing parts. They have stringent QA process’s and are constantly maintaining their equipment to ensure superior part finish and part accuracy. They typically are engineering focused and have a lot of capabilities beyond Rapid Prototyping. (Advanced CNC, Injection Molding, Blow Molding, etc.)  Others are using old equipment that has not been updated in years. SLA and SLS machines may be 10+ years old and be maintained only when they break. The parts off these older machines need more hand finishing and sanding and are less accurate when compared to your CAD data.

We are  like the former. We have invested in new equipment and that new equipment leads to the ability to produce better looking, more accurate parts faster!
